FYI, we couldn't change the skin to young Kratos until the 8 minute mark. God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla will be an epilogue to the events of God of War Ragnarök that follows Kratos on a deeply personal and reflective journey. Set after the decisive battle against Odin and Atreus’ departure, Kratos has seen a path for himself that he never thought possible before. Brought to the mysterious shores of Valhalla accompanied only by Mimir, Kratos will enter its unknown depths to overcome trials within himself and face echoes of his past.

I like how this whole dlc is just Tyr and Mimir giving Kratos therapy

I love when the "when you are more than that" scene, the Vengeful of Spartan plays you feel the Kratos' rage, sadness, trauma, and guilt. But when you hear the new God of War theme you feel relieved and redeemed. That's what I also love this DLC.

At 6:41 when Sigrun ask how Kratos got past the Valhalla gate and he replied "I forced it open" and freya gives him the "What the actual f**k!" look made me bust out laughing.

I love him walking in.. Its so.. Inspiring. I love the DLC i love the lessons.

it's a shame that Santa Monica couldn't bring back the old voice actor to have young Kratos and the Norse Kratos argue in the throne room. it feels odd that a body double is just sitting there, no fight or words in him, and that Norse Kratos simply monologues to himself. Valhalla clearly has the power to manifest things and memories into existence, and it would've been nice to hear young Kratos interrogate and question Norse Kratos' resolve. Norse Kratos could've talked his younger self out of a fight, which would be the 1st time that had ever happened to young Kratos, and they both come to the same realization that the time for anger has passed and instead look forward to a brighter future.

Man.. It feels weird seeing kratos without a long beard😅

Jesus Christ, the most fascinating thing about having this young Kratos skin is that his facial nuances come through a lot better without all that beard. The way his lips are animated durring his speech is incredbly realistic and even his tongue is animated appropriately to the words he's saying. Play the video in 4K at the end where he talks to his young self and zoom into his face at any given moment and it looks almost like live-action.
