  • Il y a 2 ans j’ai décidé d’essayer d’apprendre le français et j’ai demandé à mon ami francophone de m’aider à faire ça :) C'est vraiment dingue! Je quitte ma zone de confort! Mais j'adore cette langue! Merci!

This is the most brilliant explanation of this I have ever seen! When I first learned a few verbs like 'essayer de' I had no idea of the significance of the 'de' and that it was so crucial to the sentence! Either nobody told me, or I just wasn't ready to grasp it at the time, but boy it's coming back to haunt me now!

Wow, thanks so much. I approached this subject on the Monday just gone and got really deflated because it was a bit overwhelming - like a lot of learners I expect I’ve just been reciting verbs without learning the prepositions. If only I had known to learn them the same way you learn the gender of a noun.
  • Ce leçon est vital pour votre apprentissage à mon avis. Les textes scholaire française n'ensignent jamais des verbes avec leurs preopositons. Il faut savoir de quel preopositons vont suivre après le verbe. Merci infiniment ! Je viens de m'abonner à votre chaîne.

I'm the guy screaming down the hall in the opening of the video. Still don't get when to use them. I think it's the one thing holding me back from forming sentences.

I've been learning french for close to a year now trying to find this explanation. Although I had native french speakers as teachers, the information was not this precise.

A titre personnel et je ne pense pas être la seule, je dis: "J'écoute de la musique".

I just wondered about sentences that begin with de or en; for example is there a difference between "En retour..." and "De Retour... I saw a sentence in La Monde: "De retour en France depuis 2019, la journaliste ne supporter plus que Perviy Kanal...". Could that also be "En retour..."?
