When a young caracara comes across a penguin carcass guarded by older birds, he calls for backup from other young birds. Young caracaras band together and join gangs for the first years of their lives.

Just to clarify, this is the striated caracara or Forster's caracara (Phalcoboenus australis), not the more widely distributed (and thus more commonly associated with the name caracara) crested caracara (Caracara plancus)

We didn't see that one old bird acting young, trying to fit in with the younger birds acting ignorant and doing drugs being a bad example, getting pregnant at same time as their daughters.....I'm sorry. That got a little preachy at the end.✌️
