Remember: a technique is only illegal if it puts stress on the parts. If there's no connection, it's perfectly fine.

I actually had a minifigure head stuck into a lego trashbin piece since 2015 and I just managed to get it out a week and a half ago lol

-Okay, now it's stuck One needle/toothpick is what all it takes

I love how the '1x1 tiles in a clear piece' thing was proven legal cause of Monkie Kid. (I really don't see the lmk sets talked about a lot so this was a nice change to that!)

Mans acting like I’m gonna get thrown behind bars if I don’t assort my legos properly

lego actually did that trick with 2 monkie kid sets, in that big city of lanterns the bubble tea shop counter was made up of those. really good detail especially with transparent studs
  • @Valais_Bites
The Monkie Kid mention made me physically jump
  • the katana inside the transparent block looked cool tho. Like it‘s on display in some yakuza lair or smth
  • The glass one is certainly legal, because I have a severe flashbacks to when I saw it to the Lego Ninjago Movie sets. (Not the dock, can’t recall the name for the first part) but it’s in the instructions for the sushi restaurant.
  • The illegal techniques are illegal because they put stress on the connections that the pieces aren’t built for which causes permanent damage over time. The 1x1 round pieces in the hollow clear brick isn’t illegal because there are no connections to cause stress to the pieces

In the Ninjago City set 2017, there was a similar technique w/ the tall clear brick w/ 1x1 flat round tiles.
