People have asked me if I could record the two new original songs of Luminous on piano, but I decided to record the soundtrack of the entire fireworks show. The piano music is exactly in sync with the actual soundtrack of the show.
This video is my tribute to all the creators, composers, arrangers and musicians of this breathtaking show.

It was a big challenge to play the music exactly in sync with the show and to translate all the details of the soundtrack to piano. Sometimes I wish I had more than two hands haha! I didn't think I'd start crying, but I couldn't stop listening. This video randomly appeared on my feed, and I was planning to do some chores and play it in the background, but I had to sit down and watch. I can't remember the last time something moved me to tears like this. The music in this show is absolutely beautiful, and hearing it on the piano without any other instruments or vocals is even more moving. I'm touched. Great work, Gijs. Thank you!
