The one with going back to the maps every 5 seconds while reading a fantasy book hit a little too hard 😂😂
  • "Because I quite enjoy the life you say I'm trapped in" is a reader's line and nothing anybody says will convince me otherwise
  • Drugs and books really aren’t that different honestly They’re both addictive

One time I was just chilling at school reading a book as one does, and then this group of girls come up to me and all of them tell me that “reading sucks” and “all books should burn” so then as one does; I slapped each of them and the teacher did not give a damn, so I got away with it
  • “ What do bookworms learn?”* Me a bookworm with a reputation as one of the top students in the class* YEAH wE tOtAlLy DoNt LeArN
  • the put a finger down book thing: me: yesss its six of crows realising she tricked me
  • One time I was reading a new book that was a hardback and extremely thick in the cafeteria after school while I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. The mean girl told me that reading sucked, I should go to hell for liking to read, blah blah blah, and THREW MY BRAND NEW BOOK ACROSS THE DISGUSTING CAFETERIA FLOOR. That girl knew she screwed up big time when she saw the look of rage in my eyes. I quickly plastered on a calm expression, walked over to my book, picked it up, and walked back to my seat where the girl still was. I smiled sweetly at her (everyone was watching) and hit her right across the face with my book (which was thick and a hardback). She fell onto the floor crying, she later got a big bruise on her head, everyone clapped (there weren't any teachers), my parents never found out, and when she told her mom her mom told her that I did the right thing. I felt like a QUEEN at that moment. (This was in the fifth grade.)

I was just crying over a certain character's death cough cough in six of crows
  • I relate to that girl recommending "The Infernal Devices" to her friends on a whole other level. It feels nice to see people love & cry over the characters you loved & cried over. Hehe.
