The YouTube algorithm sent me here, because I'm subscribed to Sherpa's channels. Love the line Sherpa was just the beautiful Sherpa, Sherpa was.

All the grief and heartache is the price we pay for love . ❤

We have to help take care of Jamie now. It's what Sherpa would want us to do.
  • I have been watching Sherpa for years, I am heartbroken! So good to see people pay tribute to Sherpa❤ He is a beautiful soul!
  • So good of you to honor Sherpa and Jamie. It so nice to see another person who understands that animals are family.

Sherpa was quite the dog! He was getting recognized whenever they went out in public. I know that Jamie was getting packages, letters, and emails from all over the world. However, I don't know if Jamie actually comprehended how much of an impact that he and Sherpa actually had in this world. Sherpa was a special being in this universe, and Jamie is more special than he knows. He gave all those years placing Sherpa's interests above all. He bought vehicles with Sherpa in mind. He bought a house with a large garden, so Sherpa had a place to patrol. He spent all those years taking care of Sherpa. Now, we, Sherpa's fans, will wait anxiously to see if Jamie will continue on YouTube, either alone or perhaps he gets another dog and gives that dog a wonderful life just like the wonderful life that he gave to Sherpa. The only thing that I know to be true, is that I and I'm sure many others like me will be here and support Jamie if he decides to continue on YouTube, either alone with "The Adventures of Jamie" or with another dog to carry-on Sherpa's legacy and memory. Whatever decision Jamie makes, I will be here to support him as a small way to say "thank you" for all the joyful memories that he and Sherpa gave to me and many of you as well. The memory, legacy, and impact that Sherpa had will live on in all of us who were touched by Jamie and Sherpa. Rest easy in heaven, my furry friend. Your place in heaven is well-deserved.

As the song by Alan Jackson says.... "The older I get, the more I think You only get a minute, better live while you're in it, because it's gone in a blink" 😊
  • That was the one thing with Sherpa he would sit and look at the scenery and watch the world go by. Very unusual in a dog.

Theodore Dalrymple wrote an essay when his dog died, and he said that to adopt a dog is to knowingly sign up for heartbreak. The lifespan of a dog compared to a human makes it inevitable that we'll outlast them. But though we know it, dogs don't. They live every day with us, never knowing that there's going to be a last parting. They don't have any dread for the future, it's just a continual present for them. We can't escape the burden of our knowledge, but we can take comfort by accompanying our animals through their perpetually sunny present, living with them as if it's never going to end, they way they do.

Thank you for talking about Sherpa and Jamie....it's so nice to see the wide impact those two have had worldwide. Sherpa will be missed but I hope Jamie keeps us in his life. And thank you for your wisdom...so inspiring.
  • I've been watching Sherpa for 4 years. Sherpa will be missed. I lost 2 orange male cats in June & I still cry every day. It's very hard.
  • @CPT_Nelson
This man is spewing wisdom right here, We should listen to this, it's important.
  • @dawnbartle123
I love the line “What is grief but love persevering”… so sad to have lost Sherpa. A lovely tribute x
  • Jamie has just released a video stating that he will continue posting. He says he has some old videos that he still has to post. I can relate how he currently feels, I've lost a number of dogs and other animals. They bassicaly took part of my heart with them. Jamie and Sherpa brought me back from a very dark place. That's something I can never truly express my thanks for. Sherpa touched so many around the world ❤
