In a few days I will celebrate my 50th birthday, father's day and on June 23rd my 5th consecutive month of sobriety. This is my first time actually being honest with myself and open in public about it but I’ve been going through a lot recently and I just want to thank you dax for all that you’ve been doing for us. When this song first dropped I could no longer ignore the cycle. Could no longer ignore the real side of me that was being suppressed that was screaming for help that was screaming to come out. Just got out of rehab 2 days ago 28 days and I'm still going strong. Thanks Dad and this is a good remix aswell. Love y'all

I commented when this song first came out, and I was struggling to quit drinking.. now I'm commenting on the remix to say I am finally free from alcohol since the end of April/beginning of May. The second I finished listening to this song for the first time I was in tears, but only because it really did make a huge impact on me. Keep doing this for the people, Dax. thank you so much for pouring your heart into every song and talking about the difficult things, we all really need this right now <3

My brother just showed me this song. Alcohol was always my vice. I will be 2 years sober next week. This song hit close to home. Absolutely felt this song. My drinking helped me cope with my best friend destroying himself in addiction, and my relationship with Christ was stifled and I just kept drowning him out rather than going to the cross. It’s not an easy rut to pull yourself out of, but it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Thank you for this.

I keep coming back to this song for support. I grew up in a family full of addiction and I recently lost my mother to her battle with alcoholism. After finding that out in February I hit rock bottom and picked up the bottle heavily. I couldn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel but this song (original version/mega mix) gave me hope and the ability to stand again. Thank you, I feel like you saved me with your message and words.
