I love Trevor Jones. His musical scores were a staple of my childhood. You really don't encounter many films and series that can match them. The scores to Merlin and Last of the Mohicans are especially stirring.

It's thanks to films like this that those of us lucky enough to experience them get to carry a little bit of magic with us.

This soundtrack and theme convey the feelings of hope, despair, loss, love, persistence and so many more that Merlin felt throughout the movie. Truly epic.

Utterly loved this movie such sublimity and beauty in the form of a movie. Sam Neil is such a talented actor and his magic truly made this movie great. He likes to comment on the fact that we swedes enjoy watching Ivanhoe every Christmas. This, good sir and masterclass actor Sam Neil is even better still!

Just watched this miniseries for the first time and I adored it! I already ordered the DVD and the novelization trilogy, and am thinking of getting the soundtrack! The music and acting (especially from Sam Neill) were very good, and I especially loved Merlin and Nimue's beautiful love story. Definitely one of my favorite Arthurian adaptations! Thanks for uploading this gorgeous piece. Trevor Jones always delivers.

I've just watched Merlin for the very first time and oh, it was amazing! Sam Neill was fantastic as Merlin, just astounding. I loved the soundtrack, and I was hoping there was so much more, like a full expanded score. Can anyone put exact timestamps on? What piece of the score is which scene? I'd love to know, thanks.
