  • Most QB careers would likely be put to rest after an injury like the one he suffered in San Diego.. but instead he managed to turn that into being a 13x Pro Bowler, 4x offensive player of the year, Super Bowl MVP.. was still setting records late in his career.. turned an entire organization around & made it successful. I mean c'mon, this man is a LEGEND.

Brees is criminally underrated by a lot of people when they talk about/think of the greatest qbs ever
  • @nabzy28
After that late career surgery, you could see that he struggled immensely to throw outside the numbers. Totally sucks that it had to be that way for him and really stinks to hear that it's even worse now.

His timing and anticipation was second to none. You hear about Manning's ability to read a defense pre snap or Brady's ability to get the ball out quick, but I have never seen a QB that was better at getting to the 3rd or 4th option than Brees. Also his ability to put the ball exactly where he wants it, I've never seen someone able to "throw a guy open" better than Brees.
  • Brees we will always love you in New Orleans. You gave us everything. You carried us on your shoulders when our city was on life support. God needed you to come to New Orleans and you accepted the calling. God Bless you Drew. Thank you for giving your all for yourself, teammates, and Who Dat Nation!
  • Man had multiple 5000 yard seasons on a bum shoulder is insane. As a Panthers fan he always had my respect buy this just multiplied by 10 💯

Brees. Just like manning in his last season. Would still be better than alot of these qbs just based on checking into the right plays before the play

He also had a torn rotator cuff and a plantar facia injury for a lot of his last year. Not enough people knew it but was sad to watch him go out on his shield.

Brees is an indescribable player. He’s so uniquely gifted and dedicated he managed to somehow fly mostly under the radar of analysts and fans “elite” lists. Yet his body of work aways spoke for itself. Not to mention willing to throw his body on the line for wins. I’d love to see him return to New Orleans as a coach. He’s already godlike status in NOLA. If he coached and won a championship or more. They’d erect a 500 ft golden statue of Brees at Championship Square

In an alternate universe, Cam Newton is still a beast, RG3 and OBJ never got hurt, plus Drew Brees is still playing 😂

Drew Brees is the the Dirk Nowitzki of the NFL. Would be viewed so much differently with a ring or two more, and if it weren't for a couple wacky plays he's probably on the Rushmore of qbs....
  • @heinman6250
Imagine how good he would’ve been with a fully healthy shoulder his whole career
  • @MasterPeace12
That arm was gone 3 years before he retired. We need his mind in the coaches room
  • @tdkb3395
Left everything on the field and gave everything he had to the game Massive Respect to a QB LEGEND
  • @user-qv9vo3io7h
Nothing but love, respect, admiration and......... every single wonderful word of appreciation to him for being our hero in New Orleans.
  • @austinm8823
We need a what if Drew Brees never hurt his shoulder timeline. He may never have won as many rings as Brady, but his stats would be insane. Truly between him or Marino, the most gifted passer of all time
  • @0-Elias-0
Yeah, a shoulder injury can sap your passing skills like nobody's business. The first time I sprained my AC joint I'd have to shut it down after 8-10 pass attempts. The second time I sprained my AC joint I couldn't complete a 15 yarder ( at all ). I'm hoping that the third time's the charm; so that I can be back out there like Uncle Rico.

The Sports Science where they prove Drew Breese is more accurate with a football from 20yrds than an Olympic Archer… 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
  • @JBroxas78
Hes not wrong, I saw it in his last game against brady, his throws were that of a man who couldnt make it anymore. The pics he threw were the feather in the cap
