The cost of 3/5 of those bikes was prohibitive. Please - more reviews of bike models that us mere mortals might buy as opposed to the ones that manufacturers shower on you to review (which must be nice).

What bikes are best for gravel but use alt or flat bars...I can't ride with drop bars due to hand/wrist issues.
  • @johnrodgers6049
GT cables up front are a mess. They don’t need to be internal but these look terrible

On the Grail…Do your homework guys. Tire clearance is at 700x 42 mm, but Canyon points out that’s with fenders, so the effective maximum tire size is closer to 700×45 mm. The Canyon site says 46 front. 42 rear

Santa Crux Stigmata, which was not exactly one of the five, but in there. Could you review it please?

This years Unbound winner bikes from Rose? (Backroad FF). Affordable bikes of very good quality!

Man, I forgot how much of a mess the exposed brake and shift hoses/cables look.

Seems like I just saw a video you all said the Crux was amazing.
  • Now I can not unsee the wrinkles thanks for ruining the vid for me 🤣🤣🤣

Why is my Cannondale SuperSix CX always overlooked? I love that bike.

I would buy one w rim brakes. I like being able to put a bike in the backseat or trunk of my car. I would also want one that comes w rack mounts.

Can't believe the Ari Shafer didn't make the list - from the customer support, to the components and the price. Tough to beat.
  • @DarrenMansell
Me: How much?! How much?! How much?! How much?! Bit pricey!

I think Jack Luke already owns the iron your shirt moniker on this channel 😂

To say that tire clearance up to 45c is really for recreational riders and not racing doesn’t apply in the States. The last gravel event I ran 47mm tires on a 2x Supersix SE and I see people riding up to 50mm tires. I don’t think i would even consider a new gravel bike with at least 47-48+ tire clearance.
