Reports say that mold or some kind of airborne bacteria may have been responsible for the deaths of actress Brittany Mrphy and her husband Simon Monjack in 2011. The pair died just months apart and health officials believe that mold growth in their home may have been the cause.

Today's homes have been made airtight to avoid heat loss and make them more efficient; however, in the effort to save money we may have created a monster on the order of Godzilla! Mold spores and diseases bottled up tightly with people is a recipe for disaster. We bring illness home with us from school and work and we are trapped with those microscopic creatures until they infect us.

A HEPA air filtration system is an excellent way to fight off and clean the air around us and keep us from the damaging effects of mold and other particles that float around us waiting to attack. While an air filtration system does not solve the problem of having mold in your house it can help ward off the problem until a company like Disaster Restoration Experts in Denver, Colorado can remediate the mold problem.

It's been 5 yrs now so wondering if you would still recommend this or have there been further advancements that another company may be making? Thank you
  • @shadowman7408
That Hepa % rating is completely bogus, I have bought high end HEPA units they never helped me with mold and chemicals at all.. It's good for large particles like dust or smoke nothing else
  • @tugslug9573
The amount of time a mold spore is exposed to the uv light in a hepa air filter or an HVAC isn't enough to kill the mold spore. UV lights are great for killing bacteria on a/c coils in your HVAC but that's about it

So he pulls out a filter contaminated with mold from who the hell knows where... waves it around in what WAS an uncontaminated room... Talking about "This has a few more hours left on it" lmao
