As long as this device is purchased from a third-party seller it's a no brainer. Not worth an upgrade from the OG, but as a first time buyer this device is going to make many people happy. Let's just hope it won't have many flaws this time around.

Really interested in the device, I am currently within the 60 day period for best buy on my rog ally z1 extreme. I have to return it by July 6th to be able to return it. I think it's worth returning and getting the new one but would love your thoughts. Also would love to hear your thoughts on how much of a difference I can expect in performance. I play games like fortnite, Baldur's Gate 3, Horizon Forbidden West, Rocket League, Elden Ring, Cyber Punk, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and more. Also where would the balance be between the allocation of ram vs vram, wish it was 32 gb but still solid improvement. Love the bigger battery life. Also, I bought for my rog ally extreme a 2 tb SSD when I got it as well. Wondering what you think?

idk, I think he exaggerated Valve's customer support. I had a similar issue and valve basically told me to buy and iFixit kit and good luck, which is fair because I broke my steam deck and they shouldn't reward me for that... but no they are not going to just send out replacement steam decks left and right. he must have caught the customer support person on a very good day

Ally X price in canada is 1100$. Steamdeck oled is 689$

HI I am not sure about upgrading too the new version, my Rog ally micro SD Died a month after warranty expired and Asus wouldn't honor an RMA, so i just put a 4tb drive in it and called it a Day 👍👍

€899 in Belgium. €899 = $973. Almost a 1000 dollars. That's not fair. Now I'm.certainly won't buy it...
