So I Got Robbed At Gamestop...

I knew a Gamestop employee (female) that they had her closing by herself. A man came in and asked her to get a bunch of stuff and then something off the top shelf. While she was on the ladder he kicked out the ladder from under her and she fell on the ladder on the way down, and then he assaulted her. Now she has permanent spinal damage. They are a shoplifter, until they're not. He was caught a few weeks later, let out on bail and never came for his trial, so he's still out there. I have no pity for shoplifters.

If you are cool with the employee ask if they will throw out some games you want in the trash in exchange for slipping them a $20-50. it works for me and they dont give a F**k about the company anymore.

I got robbed last year while driving a bus. It was a team effort. One passenger asked me a question and while I was answering it, another passenger stole my bookbag.

I worked 3rd shift at a sketchy gas station solo for 7 months. The craziest thing that happened to me was a group of hooded teens came in and stole arms full of potato chips and had a getaway driver lmfao. I didn't even report it or anything... 😂

I got robbed at gunpoint once, guy shot off 5 or 6 rounds. He got me for like $200, I still kept my watch though.

It's extremely terrifying. When I was with Gamestop their concern for me and the coworker was non-existant. It still messes with me and that was 8 years ago. We had a gun pulled on us at 8pm on a summer night. Everything was is etched in my memory.

Getting robbed sucks! I got robbed at gunpoint for a portable cassette player! The guy was a moron! And it also inspired me to learn martial arts!

My sister worked at a Starbucks that was next to a Gamestop. She got to work at 4 am for the morning shift and there was a truck crashed through the front of the Gamstop, store was looted. The owner came in to get coffee, she gave it to him for free.

I had two Gamestops in my area. One was in a fancy indoor mall (which was 100% SAFE to go to. No problems there, NO robberies, all peaceful thanks to the competent mall security and the employees were cool) and the other was in an OUTDOOR stripmall and it was sandwiched near a weird Walmart (where fist fights would break out, drug deals would take place, etc) and a "Homeless Tent Village" filled with people who would harass you for a dollar. The cops would take TWO HOURS to come to that area if something horrible went down (and A LOT of crap went down in that area). Despite the SAFE Gamestop being profitable at the fancy indoor mall, Gamestop decided to close that store down and left the other store in the insanely crappy area open. Biggest WTF moment since most people in the area seriously didn't feel like going to that place to pick up the latest Mario game only to have some hobo with a shotgun waiting outside. LOL. I went to that Gamestop only twice before I decided to NEVER go there again. What caused me to stop going there was when this shady looking dude who looked like the last time he took a shower was back in 1988 came into the store and whipped out an Xbox 360 that looked like it was buried in a septic tank till he took it out. The Gamestop employee refused the trade in (because it was VERY obvious that 360 probably had 10 roaches living inside it) and the dirty customer went BALLISTIC and started cursing everyone in the store out and implied he was going to cause mass violence and rob everyone in the store. I left the store and just bought some games I wanted from an online auction. LMAO. I haven't been back to a Gamestop since.

Been robbed before and got furious when store owner wanted to take stolen amount out of my check saying I didn't do enough to stop the thief.

Was robbed three times in one month years ago when I was a store manager. Now, I live with anxiety issues. Good times

Dude I was wondering if you were gonna talk about the Pembroke Pines case lol. Funny enough, I saw the guy a week before he shot the guy. Apparently that GameStop got robbed for a street fighter 6 collectors edition a week before so he was on high alert. Also, he’s a veteran and the victim was unfortunately a 21 year old.

The Dunkin donuts near where I work got robbed a couple of nights ago around 10:15 pm. When I heard that the hairs on my body stood up, could've been us.

By him telling us he said " white boy" he is telling us the robber was black! Dont think i never cought that!

I worked at a convenience store and while the cops were there on an unrelated issue some kid walked in and started shoplifting no I saw him shoplifting but I was like kid you got balls so I'll let him get away with it

Got stopped twice at Walmart for "stealing" trying to walk out after shopping. They're getting ridiculous.

When a store disarms a law-abiding citizen,😊 they are required to protect them. They have assumed responsibility. If you don't have armed guards, I don't disarm

I was in a 7-11 in Richmond that was robbed while I was there. I also had someone attempt an armed robbery when I worked at a record store.

I just (reluctantly) walked into a Gamestop just as a couple of thieves were on their way out. Poor employee, who, of course was the only one on staff due to horrible business decisions will probably be blamed.
