that last bout was..... strange. I dunno in what world c sub plays defensively vs ermac/H.smoke. I feel C sub kinda has to be aggro as their teleports invalidate freeze, but ay, some payers are really dedicated to sitting there with glitch jabs. But yeah uhhh, I noticed when you played c sub you do the relaunch attempts too early. Its generally better to be "too late" on them than too early because the flubs that come from being too late lead to better mixups and its better to adjust the timing of the relaunch if you're too late as opposed to being too early.
