It hurts so bad, I can take a lot of punishment but it kills me to see her make bad decisions because she doesn't think she's worth anything better. I just want her to choose herself and her happiness, with or without me. The first time we locked eyes, I just wanted to wrap my big strong arms around her and protect her, show her kindness and unconditional love. As strong as I am mentally, emotionally and physically, I'm powerless to help her because it's not up to me, it's her decision.
