    You can, but in the screen where you edit your EASHL player you can make it so that he never fights. That's how I have it set, the fighting is pretty lame in NHL 09 IMO. It's slightly more advanced than fighting with Rock'em Sock'em robots and not even half as fun. Fighting in EASHL matches seems to be pretty rare also.
