I seemed to have forgotten that he was indeed called Mickey in the short. Oh well I shall keep calling him Willie since this whole Copyright thing is so screwy.

He actually was called Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie. Good voice for Mickey btw.
  • " Oh! Hahahaha! This is a joke right? Hahaha! " Oh good lord you're serious. "

Your Pooh bear sounds almost exactly like Goobus Doobus’ version lmao
  • 0:27 Common misconception. He was called Mickey Mouse at that point. It's on the short's title card. From my understanding the public domain character can be called Mickey Mouse but the name can't be advertised in a way that leads to confusion with the Disney brand. Just calling him Mickey, Mick, or Mr. Mouse should be safe. TLDR putting the full name in a title might be dangerous but we're allowed to use the name in the context of the story.

what to do when anything gets in public domain: 1. horror movie (and maybe a game)... for some reason 2. that's it, nothing else because apparently that's like the only thing done

Don't worry, Winnie, you'll get your spot in the wholesome sunlight soon.

To be fair, Mick was pretty psychotic in the original short. Especially with all the animal abuse.

This is my ideal voice for Mickey. I myself always thought the squeaky voice, while fitting for a mouse, doesn't fit too well for Mickey. I like this type of voice because its not high piched and squeaky which could make it a drag to listen to. Good work.

i loved how you made mickey sound like his karnival kid self with adding a bit if 1920'S accent to it, great short btw
  • @Gustoberg
Now all we need is a paddington-esque Pooh movie and a gritty noir drama with michael
  • "At least you seem to be doing well after your film, so it can't be THAT bad, right???" "Oh no I'm psychologically scarred." "....oh"

Hah! Although I may be alone in thinking that a Steamboat Willie horror movie is interesting if done correctly. Same with Winnie The Pooh.
