Tobin escapes, but still hears his own voice in the grass luring people in. This proves that only that one version of Tobin escapes, but other Tobins remain in the grass loop forever. Anyone who touches the rock, including Tobin and Travis, can not truly escape the loop. So Travis has a single version of himself not yet in the loop, but unfortunately there is also still a version of Travis in the grass loop and thus he will be forever be in the loop aside from the one single version who never entered. The only ones who truly escape is Becky and Cal, as they escaped without touching the rock. Which is why we don't hear their voices or see them in the grass loop at the very end.

To avoid the paradox, I would think you are right with the last hypothesis. They are different versions. Some are trapped/dead in the grass. While others never made it in by stoping the cycle. My main question is: how did the cycle started? Could the cycle restart again in the same way it started? My hypothesis to avoid another paradox: the cycle initiated with the begins the grass started to exist. They were all already trapped in the cycle at the same time.
