Just a casual feedback on an old video-log: I disagree about a concept that implies children are simply shorter adults. As we all can remember from our own childhood, children need protection and care until they have matured. However, I believe You are trying to point out that the whole person a child may become is already present during the phase of development. A child may lack the concepts to come to terms and the skills to cope with its environment, but it will sense if it is taken serious as a person, just like an adult. That would be the foundation of the pedagocial relationship. An interesting phenomena of neoteny appears to be the trend that its attributes (e.g. child-like facial structures) are becoming more prominent the longer the species evolves as if youthfulness would serve a function within evolution.
