As part of Phase IV of the Cyclades Interconnection project, led by @IPTO S.A. (ADMIE) and in collaboration with @Hellenic Cables once again, we’ve achieved a significant milestone in enhancing Greece’s energy security and reducing CO2 emissions. ⚡🌍

🛠️Installation and protection of 2 HVAC 150kV Submarine Cables with different cross-sections
🌍An impressive cable route spanning approx. 156 km, with depths reaching more than 500 m.
🚢Vessels #Ariadne, #Argo, #Astrea, #Alcyone, #Artemis, #Hydna & 4 different landings
🔧 Cutting-edge equipment: Assojet III Mk2, AssoTrencher IV Mk9
This milestone integrates Milos & Serifos into the mainland Power Transmission System, enhancing electricity quality and enabling the decommissioning of outdated power stations.
