So interesting story behind I Hate You. It used to have a different version (actually there were two previous versions, but the only public one was a fanmade recreation of the original,) then the version Vinny is seen playing was made as a newer recreation, minus the potential malware of the original version. There was very little information given when the original I Hate You game surfaced. The original has several differences, such as the Luigi fight just being a short cutscene, the drowned corpses not moving, and most of all, the original had several loud jumpscares linked to particular events, such as retrieving the death mushroom, completing the game, and some others I can't recall the specifics to.

Wasn't there a version of "I HATE YOU" where grabbing the evil mushroom causes a jumpscare?

That first game is visually impressive. I like SMW games that put a spin on the formula and offer something cool.
