This man has done more for first responders and veterans than 100 lawmakers in a lifetime

Jon already freaked Gayle out at 1:00 by roasting the corporate overlords lmfao

Jon Stewart is a national treasure. His wit, humor, and advocacy for important causes have made a lasting impact on the country. It's great to have him back!

Jon Stewart coming back? Fantastic! Edit: And kudos to Jon for telling Apple to take their censorship and shove it.

I enjoy the hosts not only talking over the guest but also each other. Peak respect and professionalism, well done.

Half of my adult life was in a good place because of Jon Stewart. He's made politics tolerable in the funniest way. Glad to see him come back to the desk.

Hey Jon, thanks for coming back to the Daily Show! Don't you realise how much influence you have? To see someone keeping their sense of humour during all these crazy times helps me a lot to keep in a good mood and not get depressed. I"m sure it helps a lot of other people too::: Keep up the great work!!!!

Jon Stewart is a legend! The quick-wittedness is just amazing. Real-time references and jokes that are grounded in truth and genuine

So happy to have the voice of reason back on air

Yesterday, I subscribed to a basic cable package for the first time in 5 years just so I wouldn't have to wait until Tuesday to watch the long awaited return of The Daily Show. This is huge. Thank you J-Stew for the air support! ☮💙

Jon was a terrific source of cathartic humor and well-informed, funny commentary in the past. When the world went mad in 2016 (first Brexit, then Trump, Boris Johnson, Jair Bolsonaro, the pandemic and all the pandemonium since then) I often found myself wishing he was still around to make the daily headlines just a tiny bit less horrifying. Welcome back, Jon. I'll be watching.

I bumped into him at a coffee shop in NJ. What a nice guy!
