We take 2 tbsp of Braggs ACV w/ mother in 8oz of water before meals and bedtime. Both my me and my wifeā€™s blood pressure was normalized after about 4 weeks to the point where we had to stop taking blood pressure meds. Doctors were suspicious but now have agreed that we donā€™t need the meds anymore. Also helps with many other things.

Just want to say... i can't believe how wrong i was without knowing it about food. I was eating sweet junks because they made me happy. But i am more happy without them. Who would thought that??? Healthy Food + outdoor activity completely transforms you. Takes time, months but it works. No more sad mood or depression. Still little bit but is fine now. And thats less than 10kgs of weight!!! From 78 to 71. I look better. I feel better and more confident.

I recently started making my own kombucha and kefir for the probiotic benefits. Combined with a low carb diet I think you can't go wrong. It still runs you cheaper than buying a high quality probiotic supplement. It's very easy to start so I'll encourage anyone to try it!

Thank you so much for the information on total sugars and added sugars. I was always one that would avoid products with added sugar and would always think, ā€˜Well, at least thereā€™s no added sugarā€™. But you have really opened my eyes to the tricks companies uses. If you have any more information on labeling tricks, I would love a video on it!

Thank you Dr. Ekberg for another life-saving video! Appreciate your love and passion for health and wellness. Hope all is well.
  • I make ā€œJunā€ kombucha, which uses green tea- organic honey being the sugar source for fermentation...fairly easy to make and add berries added during the 2nd fermentation for flavor...
  • Thank you dr Ekberg for this video and all the research you have done on this topic- was very informative , appreciate all the info on percentage of acidity each contains etc etc ! Very informative!! šŸ™šŸ™šŸ‘

I want to clarify the broad statement of "Sugar is sugar". There is a major difference between glucose and fructose when it comes to their metabolic pathways. Fructose can only be metabolized in the liver, thus contributing to fatty liver disease via lipogenesis. Glucose can be metabolized by many different cells in your body. It can raise insulin levels, but it will not damage your liver like fructose.
  • @vallove4life
Yay! I use apple cider vinegar and a little first cold press olive oil in my salad! Used to love balsamic vinegarā€¦ but good to know the benefits of apple cider vinegar. šŸ‘ thank you for sharing all your knowledge. Sugar is sugarā€¦.for me itā€™s not good at all. šŸ™Œ

little anecdote. I was visiting my friend in early May. He showed me a patch of grass in his yard that was visibly thicker and and greener than the rest. It turns out that his motherwas making kombucha but she decided to quit and she spilled the tea in which fungus was in the grass and you could clearly see line where it was spilled. He said that since than grass on that patch was growing almost as twice as fast compared with rest of yard and also all sort of mushrooms was popping up there. I dont know what nutrients in had but definitely something was working out just great for plant life .
  • We just tried combining the two...!! Small amount of Kombucha and the same amount of water, plus a tbsp of ACV..!! It was quite acceptable, and we will try to have some half an hour before our meals... Our meals start with some vegetables and olive oil. Then some protein, and lastly a small amount of resistant starch or pre cooked lentils....

I make my own Kombucha, and on the second ferment I always add ginger with some type of fruit. The blueberry ginger is my favorite. I did try making water kefir recently; it ended up tasting like beer. I must have let it set too long, because it was so carbonated, it shot across my kitchen when opened.

Great video; I've learned sooooo much from your videos. Thank you. I've been making kombucha since early last year, so that I can control what goes into it: no added fruits or other flavorings, no preservatives or pasteurization, and I double-ferment it to the beginning-to-pucker-my-mouth stage. I'll have to try the brix meter so that I can quantify that sugar level. One other thing: I use dextrose (glucose) rather than sucrose (table sugar, which is half glucose and half fructose) in order to eliminate the fructose altogether. The SCOBY seems to be just as happy to work on straight glucose. Edited a few days later: I did order a brix meter. My kombucha comes in at #4. That seems to be the level that I like -- on the tart side.

What I really like about Your videos are those fact comparing tables, going into very detail, but presented so everybody can understand. Thank You for Your efforts.

i have been having gerd for about 2 years (2020-2021) i cant eat too much meat, soda, coffee, ramen etc. it made me bloated and i couldnt sleep at night, my stomach growling like there was air trapped, i feel so uneasy at night. after having acv twice daily, all my symptoms are gone, i havent touch any medicine in the past year. the doctor even prescribed me antacids, unbelievable. my problem is low Hydrochloric acid which i couldnt digest properly because of stress. hope all people who couldnt get rid of gerd by having medicine, just use ACV. it seriously HELPS

Thank you for all the information you share about health and wellness, much appreciated. I an interested in the Brix meter mentioned in your ACV/Kombucha video. Is there any unit you recommend, or what should we look for in a model? Thanks again, Jackie
