Don't apologise for drinking Brazilian soda in Australia - one of the joys of Australia is how multicultural it is. Being able to have an English breakfast, a Brazilian lunch and a Thai or Italian dinner is a very Australian thing!
  • @baconislove
Tia I think you should feel pretty proud of yourself honestly, you say you're anxious but look at everything you have done and experienced, consistently with a fantastic attitude, good work mate :)
  • @MegaGo68
Oh wow, as a Queenslander who lives on the east coast of the US, this makes me homesick. Brisbane is looking great, and it looks like you are skipping Noosa and heading to Rainbow Beach -- an excellent choice!
  • @Cutis0n
Many of the mountains and towns around Australia are indigenous words! Some are a bit hard to pronounce but it’s pretty cool to go to a historical mountain where people so long ago would’ve watched the same sunset. As an aboriginal person thank you for taking the educational comments seriously and using the correct terminology! Much love

This couple is the definition of living life n I'm glad we get to be apart of it ❤
  • @Anberel
Tia cackling like an evil genius because of the pineapples is why I’m here. Seriously, though, you two always have such good energy, even when you’re not having the best time.
  • @chopper7352
Glad to hear that you've fallen in love with Australia...as from what I've seen (comments over the journey), Australia has also fallen in love with you guys...& Blueberry ❤ You're such a great couple. 👩‍❤‍👨
  • My dear girl! People are looking at you because you are beautiful and you just radiate life. Everyone looks at people like you who just beam out warmth. Take it as a compliment and relax.
  • @eugenetan72
The seat-belted pineapples 19:37 cracked me up! 🤣🤣 Sending warm (and very humid 😆) greetings from Singapore! Keep up the great content! Loving your "Great Aussie Road Trip" in 'Blueberry'

A gentle reminder as you get more remote, try not to drive at sunset or sunrise, it's dangerous with wildlife, kangaroos, emus, cattle and camels. Once you get to Road Train areas, slow down and move over if you can. Happy Trails. David and Heidi

I wish everyone found someone in their life that looks at them the way Tia looks at Cheveyo, it is beautiful to see the love and adoration so clearly ^_^

I have just binged all your Australian vlogs. I am a Melburnian (you had coffee at a place I worked at) that has since moved to Canberra to go back to University to study (quieter here as you mentioned in your Canberra vlog). I am loving your vids and I am glad your are enjoying our country. I am very proud to be called an Aussie but if you want to see how fierce our interstate rivarly is just watch the Rugby match on tonight, I was born in NSW... if you watch it you will see what I mean... Tia I am glad that you are getting into open spaces that allows your body and mind to calm down, that is also one of the reasons I moved to Canberra as I know the feeling. Take care guys and I will keenly anticipate your next vid...

It’s -4 in Canberra this morning! My mum’s family’s from Qld, Brisbane and Rocky, my grandad was a travelling Dalgetty’s (rural supplies) salesman in Central Qld, many summers as a kid we’d go to their house in Rocky, enjoy!
  • Having lived in Queensland myself for 6yrs, it's definitely more laid back. You should come back to Brisbane in 9yrs as Brisbane is hosting the 2032 Olympic Games 😊❤ I also live with Anxiety & Autism and I went over to Europe by myself in October last year and did a tour for 5 weeks. I was anxious about not knowing anyone, but i had a blast and can't wait to travel again soon.

It's super refreshing to hear Tia talk about her anxiety. It takes a lot of courage to talk about it openly and to put yourself in situations that aggravate the anxiety. Good job Tia! and good job Cheveyo for being so supportive
  • Really enjoying your travels! Just a quick word re the harsher sun in Australia: The elliptical orbit of the Earth and our axial tilt combine to place the Southern Hemisphere closer to the sun during its summer months than the Northern Hemisphere. Coupled with our clearer atmospheric conditions, this means that Australians are exposed to up to 15% more UV than Europeans. There is of course a thinner ozone layer above Antarctica but it has less to do with that & more to do with our position in the Southern Hemisphere.✌🏼
  • That calm vibe of Brisbane is why I love it so much. Cities generally stress me out, but Brissy has always been an exception to that. If you ever do venture back, that 'brewery' you spotted under the Story Bridge has some of the City's best restaurants.
  • One of the things I’ve been most impressed with throughout this series, is your pronunciation and your willingness to get the pronunciation correct. And when you’ve been corrected you take that on board, admit your mistakes, and don’t make them again. Keep on enjoying the journey.

Honestly I LOVE BRISBANE I have been to 5 capitals in Australia and Brisbane is probably my favourite it's gorgeous and fun it's absolutely a vibe
