The actual back story of the famous (rather infamous, in my opinion) Marylin Monroe's shot is quite depressing. The director (or someone like that) planned the whole setup without consenting Marylin. She was quite taken aback but still managed to keep her calm, hence birthing the timeless pic and scene. But after the event, she was beaten to the hell and back by her husband. Riles me up how she was used for her body back then and it still continues to be the case today. Her entire life and career is undoubtedly a tale to tell but also quite tragic. Misogny never left the poor woman even in death when a creep ordered to bury his coffin above Marylin's, basically facing her, so that he can "have" her even after her demise.
