He should cancel my home loan while he's at it.

When will universities be held accountable?!?!?!?
  • @onthelake9554
Briben was told he can't do this . He needs to be held accountable , he has no authority to do it .

If the student loans are so horrible for the country, then why do Democrats allow them to continue to be issued?

I’m not completely on board with this. This smells like a big taxpayer funded money grab for universities. Universities aren’t forgiving any debt…they still want their money. Besides…no one paid off my student debt, but me.

We can’t stop with just cancelling student loan debt without also completely revamping our higher education system, because the way it is done now is not sustainable. NO ONE should have to go into massive debt just to get a college education. It is unconscionable and it only hurts the economy in the end because it prevents so many from being able to make major purchases like a home. Cancel student loan debt but not without overhauling our higher education system.

Court should strike it down again...the best education is a realistic one... financial responsibility.

Why not give aid to Federal Student loans if the person is on Social Security Disability?? We need help more than others. lower income individuals..

It took him 4 years to say he would do anything for black people and his way of caring for black people is a chicken commercial? 😕 What a Joke I'm jus tired. I don't care for Trump but I can't relate to fake love

I didn’t sign their loan application. They did. They can pay it back.

Didn’t the SCOTUS say loan forgiveness is unconstitutional?

Let's just roll the loans back to what they required in 1967 when I got mine. Student loans used to carry 3% simple (not compound) interest. No interest accrued and no payments required until you cease to be at least a half-time student for nine months; or while serving in the armed forces. Half of loans could be forgiven for teaching in a disadvantaged school district for up to five years.

So basically, the people who paid back their student loans are now going to pay for those who didn’t as well? Yeah, that makes sense
