    Some guy in South Carolina died after putting fireworks on top of his hat and lighting them. They exploded, causing fatal head trauma. What an utterly pointless way to lose a loved one.

    The problem is that even when fireworks are legal everyday people don't realize how many get maimed and killed from them each year in their supposedly safe neighborhoods

    He was pronounced dead at the scene due to a delayed mortar detonation......meaning; he bent over to look at why a firework didn't go off and it launch into his face decapitating him. Neighbors found remains in their yard. The family witnessed it too.

    So what.. I'm tired of 4th of July. Fireworks for hours several days in a row, it's obnoxious and inconsiderate

    I remember being in the city for the 4th. It's complete anarchy. People have no regard whatsoever for how dangerous fireworks can be. This guy just put an unimaginable burden on his wife and kids. It's completely selfish.

    Sympathy to this family and the people who witnessed it. People buy the biggest fireworks they can buy. It is too dry and hot to be lighting them. A spark could take out your home and a few of your neighbors' houses.
