Jinnah’s Lavish House in Mumbai | Jinnah House Malabar Hills | Syed Muzammil Official

Published 2024-07-28
The Jinnah House, also known as the South Court, is an unoccupied mansion in Mumbai's Malabar Hill neighborhood that was the residence of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder and first governor-general of Pakistan. Jinnah envisioned partition in a way that would allow people to travel freely between India and Pakistan, but the wars and ongoing tensions between the two countries have created distance, contrary to Jinnah's vision.
This video explains Jinnah’s sentimental connection to the house and Pakistan’s failure to acquire it back.

  • Thanks God it's not in Pakistan, it would definitely would have occupied by some lieutenant general

My fellow Indians. Stop spamming Muzammil's comment section. His videos are for Pakistani population mostly. We as Indians can learn lessons from here and understand complexity of history. You people are cracking jokes here which Pakistanis read. Which gives an impression that Syed is favouring Indian sentiments. Which he is not doing. He is teaching history to his country's people. Please stop commenting unnecessary things here.
  • What about 1000's of Hindu left their houses in Pakistan and now encroached by other peoples??
  • @svuniverse
I used to abuse jinnah thakkar for partition but now i praised jinnah . 60% problem solve kar di jinnah ne India ki . Nahin to aaj hamari halat bhee bahut kharab hoti .

Fun fact for my fellow Pakistanis! "Jinnah house" in Lahore, he bought from a gora (whiteman) in prob 1945, never got possession of "his" house. First it was occupied by a military man from British Raj, Jinnah was paid rent, after 1947, it got occupied by Pakistani military and after a few months rent, they stopped paying rent. Jinnah's sister Fatima's attorney Barrister Qazi Essa (current CJ of Pakistan's father) tried in vain to get the possession for his client but failed. Its been Lahore Corps Commander House. Mr Jinnah had a bad luck with houses.
  • The house is in India That's why it's still safe, what about Sir Ganga Ram house in Lahore, even people of lahore do not know much about him
  • Pakstan does not have sentimental value, just monetary value.
  • When u realise father of both nations, gandhi and jinnah, both were gujarati
  • Syed Muzammil's intentions are good but I deplore his attempts to whitewash Jinnah's monstrous crimes ! Jinnah played direct roles in the Great Calcutta killings, some of the Partition riots, sending tribals to snatch Kashmir from India ...etc ! He was an elitist who had no empathy for the common Indian especially for Hindus. That he did not want to rent his Mumbai house to an Indian reveals his mindset. He believed that he could return to the house because he knew his political opponents Nehru and Gandhi were stupid !!!
  • A person who was responsible for 100000 human deaths , to hell with him and his damn property….
  • @cityb4u
The irony is that Jinaah’s family stayed back in India instead of migrating to the newly formed Pakistan; Godrej family & Wadia’s are descendants
  • @emiranup
When Nawas Sherif was the Prime Minister for the first time, South Korean president visited Pakistan. While going back Nawas Sheriff asked.."As a president of an advanced nation what message would you like to give Pakistanis." The reply was amazing... I can give messages only to people with a scientific temper.I don't have any message for people researching how to make life happy after death.
  • @bimlamehta7781
My parents are from Pakistan.. I am glad for the partition and they moved to Bharat, they preferred a hard life to save our culture and religion.. Had they chosen to live there, we would have been converted or killed..
  • He was a lofty , high standard man of western life style which is not bad Actual thought is , he was a man of character and integrity
  • @udaynandula
This shows how Md Ali Jinnah was so naive to think that after the bloody partition India would give a red carpet for Pakistanis at will to visit India and have their holidays in summer
  • @priyanka4336
Jinnah called up Nehru and asked him to put the mansion on rent for 3000 bucks😂😂😂. He also asked the tenants must only be some British people and not some indian.
  • Jinnah left to die of TB in an ambulance by his own people, his sister first being politically sidelined then most likely murdered, his only daughter/biological heir eloping with a Parsi against his wishes just like he stole the Petits' daughter, and his beloved home in Mumbai becoming an abandoned "enemy property" he never got to see again. Karma.
  • More than 2 Million people died in the Partition including my Grandfather because of the decision of Jinnah and inspite of that Jinnah wanted to come to India. My father had to live a very hard life. He however educated all his children, me as Engr. & brother a Doctor & we live a Happy life & believe in our Destiny.
