Groot's Evolution in the MCU (2014-2023) Guardians of the Galaxy

If you think about it, the OG Groot really died (albeit as a martyr), as the new Groot had a completely different personality.

People need to realize that the young Groot is not the original Groot but essentially the son of the one who died.

Crazy to think that cute baby tree who fought a Bonsai Tree became the all powerful intimidating King Groot. He grew up so fast 🥹

These are two different groots. And the second may have become king groot because the way they learn is through the light around them and being around powerful beings his entire life made him stronger.

I already loved groot when the films came out.. My son used to watch the amazing adventures of spiderman cartoon before school.. He made a appearance in some.. The first time we saw him.. He was the little stick in a plant pot until...spiderman threw it towards the bad guy (can't remember been a while) and out came adult groot.. We both looked at each other with a omg this is amazing look😂 I have always had a thing about tree beings.. I read LOTR in 1986 as a 13 year old and Treebeard was one of my favourites
