Once again - those are NOT DC (Double Crochet) stitches. They are ELONGATED DC stitches - there is an extra step. I've been castigated for being so particular about this, but - it's confusing to beginners or inexperienced crocheters who learn BAD HABITS - and then find they can't read test instructions or diagrammatic instructions - because of being taught these PERSONAL little anomalies that are basically incorrect - but called by existing stitch names. I've been crocheting for 70 years - and still use my grandmother's stainless steel British crochet hooks - and have all her crochet books dating as far back as the 1940s - both text and diagrammatic. And those books originate from Japan, Turkey, Ireland, Britain, the US and Canada. NONE of them - including the instructional books - have the stitch noted above that the demonstrator is calling a DC stitch. So beginners or inexperienced crocheters should be aware that these PERSONAL quirks or additions - are not in any crochet book they might find. The unfortunate thing about it is - because they are beginners or inexperienced - they don't know enough about the craft to spot when this is happening. For those of us who have learned the stitch names and how they are constructed and WHY they are named as they are - we can spot the discrepancies and anomalies without a problem. So I would say to take these tutorials as an inspiration - more than anything carved in stone. If you have friends who have been crocheting for years - always ask them to clarify - there is a huge community of long-time crocheters who enjoy passing the craft on to new folks.

Non tagliare il filo tutti i giri , usa 2 gomitoli che riprenditi quando ti serve.😊
  • Please slow down we are trying to learn your stitches. Do you have this in a written pattern.
