I'm working on my upcoming album releasing this Summer. So it was only right I tested that new CL1B out on a new song. I'm not going to get into A/B testing or anything like that yet as I'm still learning the process of setting up the screen recording and live video feeding but until then here's a huge showcase of the upgrade. I could hear the difference right off the bat! I'm Pumped!

    YOU DID IT yeahhh. Next step is some mastering grade conversion! I like cranesong HEDD or Prism Lyra or Burl. Don't go larvy or fossell or lynx, too clean. So for CL1B settings try Atk 9-o-clock, Rel 9-o-clock, Ratio all the way to the left like 7-o-clock, and Fix./Man mode, thats the sauce for maximum Hifi vocal sound, can bring the ratio up to 9-o clock if you want it harder. And then theres the Dr. Dre setting which is Atk 1-o-clock, Rel 10-o-clock, Ratio 1-o-clock, and Fix/Man mode. Sounds great!

    Hey brother I just got the Ref C and love it I do have the opportunity to get my hands on the Silver but would have to part with my Ref C. Honest opinion on the Silver is it better ?

    I just grabbed the CL1B as well. lol TBH for the money I still think the distressor and a La2a clone from warm or audio scape does more than the cl1b y itself. Im still learning mine as well. It has to be more too it right ? lol its industry standard for a reason. I think adding the distressor back in your chain will beef it up even more. ID sale the warm at this point lol

    dope fire vocal chain I would stop right where u are but keep the warn 2a just to help tam some one who has a harsh voice/ u should do a review on the cl1b
