Could have talked all day. Thanks for having us guys 🙌🏻🙌🏽

Colin reminds me of me in group conversation settings. Samir is doing the vast majority of the talking, and it doesn't look like Colin is mad about that. Colin and Samir seem to be very much on the same page and Samir seems to be the more naturally talkative guy, and he's probably saying a lot of what Colin would say. When Colin does have something important or specific to say he chimes in and then he lays back and lets Samir lead again and Samir seems to be good at either sensing when Colin is going to jump in, or cutting himself off soon as he hears Colin to let him get that word in. It's like the ideal Introvert/Extrovert partnership.

    I am 100% sure I can top your a-z leaderboard. I'm ready

There's so much gold in this video. Every content creator can take away something from this video.

I definitely agree on the 'edu-tainment' feedback. I'm a teacher, have shown your Tesla bot, satellite internet, and other videos to the students. Marques mentioned wondering who cares about his opinion, one side of it is also making us think, not just hearing your opinion. Those two videos made the kids think a lot

One of the most insightful podcast episodes yet!

This was a great conversation! I recently started watching to Colin and Samir and love their insight. I will say one thing I really like and respect about Marques is his ability to have clear boundaries between his "offline" life and internet life. So many creators feel the need to integrate every aspect of their lives into their brand, and I think he's shown that there can be a clear separation. I like that the only thing we really know about him is that he play ultimate frisbee lol. Keep doing what you're doing. Love the videos.

As a tech creator myself, this was my favourite and most informative video I've seen all year. I've gained so much knowledge from this that I want to test and apply to my own work. Thank you Colin and Samir for your insights, you guys are truly amazing :)
  • 42:06 I went to film school where every class was “show, don’t tell” and then I started working as an editor for a channel with +5M subs, and I learned that digital content is the opposite to film - it’s incredible how people want you to tell them almost word by word what they are seeing 🤷🏻‍

Samir has really impressed mkbhd. his knowledge and speaking on spot skill is amazing

The feedback they gave you about where you can go is GOLD! Your reputation would hold any line you cross for your videos. Get adventures, we will watch!
  • As a tiny creator I learned so much with this podcast. Thanks Marques for having them on this podcast and Colin and Samir for sharing their wisdom with us.

As you're wanting more creators on the podcast, I'd love to see Ethan and Hila on here for something different! Since you were on the H3 podcast you've started your own and it would be cool to seed you guys in a video again even if it isn't done in person talking about how their content shifted since then etc
  • That was a great episode guys. From using reels as a a tool to bring your channel more attention, to YouTube not owing you anything, as well as the advanced storytelling discussion — this was insanely value for creators. Thank you! 🤙🏻

1:08:30 - I think Marques outlines a very valid thing that is crucial for balance. Especially if you're a full-time creator that infuses different parts of your life into your videos online. The ability to unplug and just be one with yourself is especially important as a person for centering oneself. I think that if fitness and sports is good for your "offline time" then those elements should be protected. If you do have to include fitness into your digital creation then I hope Marques finds a new way to unplug FRFR
  • @Colin and Samir, I love the way you look at things! I watch yours and @Marques Brownlee videos. I am not tekkie nor a creator. So I don't understand a lot of what you are saying without a flash of a video clip or picture when you mention names/places/items. This is an older video but YouTube just turns your guys on as it goes from video to video as I nap and I wake up seeing some of my most watched channels. This happened today to me and I got to see this one. I don't intentionally search out Marques as much as C & S, but I enjoy learning about EV (I can't tell them apart even when they show me, I'm 66 so things roll over my head sometimes) and although I'm not wealthy enough to upgrade my Samsung S9 which is all I need, it's interesting for me to hear about iphones and products which other people have. Colin & Samir brings great story and context to every conversation or video they are involved in. I WATCHED THIS ONE TWICE! :) Keep up the good work!
