The only things humans need to be happy is food, water, Shelter and companionship. If you have those things and you are not happy then money is not going to help you. Money can buy entertainment but that is not happiness because when the entertainment is gone so is your happiness if you didn't have it beforehand. Also, money can buy happiness if you are giving it away. If money can buy happiness then why do the rich commit suicide at a higher rate than middle class? Happiness is a state of mind. You can be poor and be happy and you can be rich and be happy...I think that fact proves that it's not really about wealth but your state of mind.
