  • @DoreidenKishi
Seeing the Urban Redevelopment Programme made me think that it would take place when lumiose was smaller
  • Ppl think it's in the future, but they forget that in the beginning they draw the blueprints for the city. It might not be ANCIENT like Arceus, but classic style, maybe 60s? even 30s? At least, it fives me that vibe.
  • BTW didn't realize it until a google search later, but "Soe yue?" was likely "See You ?" like how in the beginning of the segment the Unown were meant to spell "Pokemon Presents" but some them were scrambled (in the wrong places)
  • I'm thinking it's set in the early days of lumios city and have like a victorian steampunk vibe
  • @_Banjo_
going inside buildings? Scarlet/Violet: What is this magic?
  • Legends sure is on its own order the the mainline remakes are but I am hyped for Legends Z-A
  • @logancole6000
New Megas are gonna hit the Pokémon community like crack
  • I think it IS a historic setting. "Re-development plan" instantly makes me think that they're rebuilding after the ultimate weapon, so maybe it'll take place post-aftermath?
  • Im very exicted for this as my first pokemon game was Pokemon X and im tired of people allways saying the X and Y games were bad.
  • @fishblade_n
GTA6 and pokemon Z in the same year is WILDDD
  • @James-ww3ri
Gen 6 absolutely deserved this love. A decade later though but im not complaining.
  • Remember that the Eiffel tower was build late 19th century, and this teaser mentions 'city rebuilding' which is either a reference to the 19th century renovation of Paris, or the rebuilding of Paris after the world wars. So I think it will be modern but not post-modern, i.e. steam engines and electricity but not yet widespread internal combustion. Generally Pokémon does not have a lot of cars, so that might not be very noticeable, but it is slightly before current time.
  • Can't wait to start breaking and entering again. Kalos was my first game ever and I can't wait to see it again 🎉🎉🎉🎉
  • Okay there's 2 possibilities it's either set in a little bit in the future or it's set between the 18th and 19th century. The reason I say that it could be set between the 18 and 19th century because Maybe those were blueprints when the city was being made and they started digital mapping what it looked like in the past.

So that’s why the Gen 6 legendaries weren’t in Scarlet and Violet
  • @HoodieHorizon
I'm so glad there are no mainline titles this year Edit: do not go into the replies
  • I translated this as it being in the past and we would join the Urban Development group in creating Lumiose city. I also hope that we will get our own home in the game and be able to decorate/customize it like we used to with secret bases in gen 3. I also hope that there will still be some other towns/villages (not a lot) unlike Arcues but we’ll see
