The reason he stops screaming is because the spring locks pierce his vocal cords. It’s explained in page 159 of the silver eyes. Basically, the spring locks stab, they pierce your vocal cords, then your lungs get filled so you drown in your blood.

Fun fact: if your getting spring-locked, not only cant you scream as they pierce your vocal cords… you also cant see as most of it happens as the eyes of the suit go through your eye sockets and push out your eyes. Good luck sleeping tonight kids

Toxic Springtrap and Flaming Springtrap both have effects corresponding with them, Toxic spews out toxic waste when he‘s springlocked, and Flaming Springtrap has lava or magma spew out of him. Cool detail (In TPRR btw)

First part: Springs below the jaw pierce your jaw. Then the eyes of the suit are reverted. It rips your eyes out and replaces it with animatronic eyes, the next closes and is pushed up, ripping the skin your throat. The arm, legs, and chest close. Crushing your bones piercing your lungs. A new oart of supports for the jaw pierce your vocal cords. Making your screams compeletely silent. New supports come to support the eyes, decapitating you. The spring lock failure is over. Yet even after decapitation, drowning it blood, eyes ripped out, bones crushed, arteries popped and pierced, you stay alive sitting in pain, not able to move a limb. In darkness, pain all over. For a whole 20 seconds…

I love how William just has his body fly around in the suit for the last one like it looks like he’s dancing then we see blood

Did you know that why he is screaming is because the springlocks squeeze every part of his body, meaning he is dying drowning with blood.

When William is being springlocked you can hear Afton Yelling "I DON'T WANNA DIE!" "LET ME OUT!" or "HELP ME, I'M GONNA DIE!" but the sound of him dying and the springlocks locking muffle it.
