El Salvador has continued its crackdown on what officials are calling a war on gangs as the government has arrested 6,000 gang members in response to a killing spree in March. The rise in gang violence caused a countrywide state of emergency, but advocates claim some of the the efforts are creating a framework for abuse.

Finally a person with the balls to stand up to these criminals.
  • @alexlopez2995
"Retaliate and we'll see how long your homeboys last" that is the most gangster thing I've heard any politician say lol. Dayum.
  • The people who think this is inhumane.......you have ZERO IDEA what these animals have done to people.
  • @justjeff709
    Treating criminals like criminals... amazing!
  • @gottalovebri
he said “come and take the gang members if you love them so much” i’m crying, but he’s right. you worried about the rights of gang members who are taking away the rights of the citizens in that country.
  • As someone who has had two cousins brutally murdered by people like this, I support this. My cousins were fathers that were chased down and brutally murdered in front of their family because they refused to join. People were threatened if they picked up their body too soon to show others what they are capable of. I have no sympathy for them, they are being showed more mercy then my cousins were.

For anyone that has not lived in Latin America, Mexico or specifically El Salvador. You will never understand what it means to fear for your family because Gangs run your life, your jobs and money. What he is doing is giving us freedom and hope from years of Pain and destruction on our Society. The MS13 has given Salvadorians a bad light, to a point where people abroad in 1st world countries can only think of crime when El Salvador is brought up. He has changed that

In the U.S.A. these people are often referred to as "victims".

It's not Abuse it's reconstructing a Country. So proud of this President, shows he really cares for his people. 👏👏
  • @Madashell1200
That 'If any gang hurts any innocent people then we'll take away the food from all your homeboys in prison and see how long they last' line was the single most badass thing i've ever heard.
  • @marquesn77
My sister lives in the Virginia/Maryland area where there’s a large Salvadoran community - they all say this is the best thing to happen to the country

Only those people that they lived in fear and tears, can tell how happy they are now!!! Thanks to Mr. President Nayib Bukele, the man who came and gives peace to El Salvador!! God bless this Man!!!
  • He literally said “I’ve had enough. This is complete bs.” And I can completely agree.
  • @Angie_bae
The fact he said “I’ll starve your homies” and sent a video out for parents to show their kids that gangs only got two options, prison or death 🎉
  • As an American 🇺🇸, this is something we’re proud to see around the world. Great job El Salvador 🇸🇻
  • My friend living in the USA for the first time in over 20 years is planning to visit his family living in el Salvador. Thanks to this amazing leader! 👏
  • @mrrobot433
He's absolutely right. Take them to your country if you feel sorry for them.
  • @zachmcewen4048
This isn't abuse, this is justice. You sometimes have to go extreme in order to truly turn a country around and end gang violence.
  • @markguerin701
Did you tell everyone how murder and crime is down 70% in 1 month !
  • God bless El Salvador and it's commitment to eradicating gang violence. Hopefully this will serve as an example to other countries stricken by this problem.
