Dispute Information:

We are fully within our rights to use the hymn, "Be Thou My Vision" as it was first seen in The Church Hymnary in 1927 it is older than the date considered to be public domain of 1928 in the United States of America where we are located and where this "Mass with Father Dave" was filmed.  Any claim to this hymn as a cover song by entities foreign or domestic are invalid as no recording was used in its performance--the musicians of the Church of St. Martha performed this hymn.  Any claim to the lyrics/text or music/melody by entities foreign or domestic is also invalid as all were published prior to the date necessary to be considered a work of public domain in the United States of America.  The text was published between 1905 and 1912 and the music/melody was published in 1927.  The year for a work to be considered public domain is 1928, and so this work was published prior to that date and is considered public domain in the United States of America where this Mass with Father Dave was filmed and where this hymn was performed.

Please ask Jesus to bless my niece, Angela, who is now scheduling her final last chance surgery to remove all cancer. She is really a special person with a very big heart. She had a very difficult childhood that no child should have had to endure. When she smiles, she lights up the room. God bless you all!

Thank you Father Dave for your wonderful homily. I lost my sweet pup, Casey, almost a month ago. He was just 2 1/2 weeks shy of his 16th birthday. I know I was blessed with many amazing years with him, but I miss him more than words can say. I so appreciate you saying that we will see our beloved pets again. I have been praying to God that I may one day see all my pets again, and your words today brought happy tears to my eyes. I am so happy for the good news about your mom and brother. God is so good to us. Have a great week and God bless you ❤

Father Dave, I watch you EVERY week for Mass, n I would like to adk you for prayers 🙏 for my brother -in-law Mark Hiltunen, who is having surgery for removal of cysts on his appendix n possibly, hopefully, his entire appendix as well, to eradicate the possibility of more cysts forming. They are spreading toxins in his system n he is in hospital fighting these toxins n needs all the prayers he can get - he is in his late 50's. My sister Wendy is alone on the farm while he is in hospital n needs prayers as well. Thank you for helping, as it is in God's hands I KNOW!!!
