The first step is to act like a youtuber and COMMIT! Be consistent and stay upbeat, it's slow to start but gets better and better over time! :D
  • @ColinDeWaay
Not learning how YouTube works was such a huge mistake for me. I literally spent years making videos with no clue. Now that I have a deeper understanding things are going much better. Thanks to people like you!
  • @tomsprague7258
I love these valuable videos. "Failure to plan is planning to fail". I love that. And of course be you! Everyone else is already taken and no one can be you better than you!
  • @onestep
Been growing 2-5 subs a day. Just got sponsored and approved for monetization. Gotta thank those who helped me get this far. Thanks nick 😎👌
  • @ryersonrowe
I’ve been watching you since i only had 7 subs. (They were pretty much my friends and family) then soon I got my first real subscriber. That felt amazing. Then I was watching you on a regular basis. I later hit 30 subs. It felt like it happened in a quick flash. About 1 month later I hit 100 subscribers! Now I have 170 subs. I just want to say thank you🙏 if it wasn’t for you I would still be at 7 subs. Guys you have to watch nick. He WILL help you! Thanks for reading.
  • Now that I’m unemployed, I’ve got more time to improve the quality of my videos. So that’s a silver lining I guess

Believing in yourself and having a strong conviction that you have something to contribute is , in my opinion, what an aspiring content creator should have. The rest is technical skill acquisition and just as you said finding out what your target viewers want to watch! Greatly appreciate it!
  • @BriangjohnsonTv
Dude, another killer video. The lighting and color correction are so spot on.
  • @reactiverse
Nick: been a fan since near the beginning, but gotta say: this video feels as professional as any TV show I've ever seen. You've REALLY got the professionalism box checked off more than ever. AND, of course, the content is always great. Thanks as always!
  • Howdy Nick, I’ve always gotten a ton of great info from your channel - thanks loads for taking the time to put all of this together! What I like most about this video is that a lot of the normal “glitz” you add to your videos isn’t in this one. The details you set out seem clearer to me and it’s easier to focus on your message. Thanks again for all you do and your hard work!
  • @TheGeekWing
Thanks Nick for the tips! Gonna look more into user experience and integrating more insights from data. On a random note, recently got into this design thinking workshop, definitely gonna use those techniques to look into the user experience.
  • Merci beaucoup Nick. Tu es clair, précis. Tu donne vraiment du bon contenu et on voit le degré de maitrise que tu possède. J'ai pas encore commencé ma chaine, mais ca s'en vient. Merci pour tous les conseils
  • @paddle_hike
I think we're always beginners with YouTube. So much's changing everyday. Always need to adapt yourself and learn! Thanks for sharing awesome tips AGAIN! :)
  • @SavvyTurtle
One of my favorite videos in my tool box to come back and watch from time to time!
  • @ChrisMizo
I stay up as much as I can especially with a skilled guy like you Nick. Even though it's titled "for beginners" it's good to go over the basics all the time because you always have to remember these core values. Thanks so much Nick, you do help put more motivation in us influencers.
  • @jthreeb
You're always paying for it, one way or another! That was my favorite line! LOL
  • Thanks again. I’m gonna start calling you St. Nick because as a YouTube creator newbie; you have been a life saver for me. Thank you. 🙏🏽👍🏽😃✌🏽
  • watching this again lol, i am obsessed with your intro nick lol, cheers for your info ive learnt so much from you last couple months, now i just have to put these things into play x
