INSIDE OUT 2 (2024) Everything We Know

I think it would be cool to see a young adult Riley have to tackle the fact that life doesn't always work out in the way you thought

I think some emotions that should be in the movie are nostalgia and awkwardness. I feel like love can come from Joy and since they can make mixed emotions, I feel like anxiety can come from a combination of any and all of the emotions, depending on the situation

You know what they should do? Make a tv series of Riley going through school, making friends, falling in love, and basically a normal teenage drama except showing what happens with the emotions behind every decision.

here's some ideas for the sequel: I believe in this sequel, the original emotions would change just a bit. So if we believe Riley would be a teenager, I would think Riley would be making her way into high school and dealing with a little sibling, meeting new people, learning new stuff, and finding love. So on that note, I feel like Joy, Sadness, and Anger would still be the same, but Fear would be more scared because of Riley going to a new school and the younger sibling being more "important". And Disgust would be in charge later in the movie when Riley hangs out with the "cool kids". I also feel like new emotions would show up like: -Stress -Silly -Curious - or in Love

I can see Riley being 14 or 15 navigating through High School and her first crush, dealing with a bully, and understanding herself by choosing the right crowd to hang around

New emotion ideas: 1. Guilt 2. Lust (Although I doubt it would be called that) 3. Isolation (This one would be really fun to see) 4. Curiosity (Would likely get along with Joy) As for depression or anxiety, I feel those two would better be represented by Sadness and fear getting bigger or stronger than the other emotions instead of adding new ones

My bet for a new emotion, "love". But they will first be known as "crush". I feel, no pun intended, that Rialy will start to have an interest in someone new. ( if Pixar want to go either way with the new character, the person not the emotion, turning them boy or girl, would probably make the movie more open minded would probably make a good example for our ages.) And as for the emotion, making them turn into or have a similar form to the "crush character" would be cute.

I have a good prediction for the story. So Riley is 13. A teenager! She is very different than she was last time we saw her. Her hormones are going crazy so she has that weird teenage thing where she feels she has hate on her parents even though it’s just anger and stress. She never wants to be with her parents and only wants to be with her friends. Her school is taking a trip to Minnesota. Riley of course wants to go because it’s Minnesota! But her parent’s wouldn’t let her because they were worried something would happen to her. So Riley gets pissed! And her parents even restrict words like piss and she is mad because she feels like she is treated like a baby. She decided to sneak out and go anyway. It was the day after the last day of school. And the buses took off early in the morning. So she sneaks out and there is a delay on the buses. Riley now has to wait until lunchtime to board. Riley’s parents are extremely worried and find her at the school a few minutes before the buses took off. Riley instantly was grounded! Her dad grabbed her by the wrist and was walking her home. Anger was not in the mood!! So Riley pulls away from him and gets onto the bus. She then says “I hate you guys I just wanna do things on my own sometimes!” Her parents then understand and decide to let her go on the trip anyway. After she comes home from the trip she goes on a little bonding date with her parents. Thats my guess. The moral of the story is that teenagers aren’t mean they just are in a not good position

I think there will be two new characters. Impulse, and Crush. Both will be brought in by the puberty button and test the patience of the other emotions and help them evolve as the emotions were simple yet disorganized. As that was the reason why everything fell apart so fast in the first movie.

I feel like we should touch something serious, like depression, to represent dealing with such severe emotions and how Riley would deal with them

I hope riley will be a great teenager while joy and the new emotions will have a new adventure for riley so I can't wait to see inside out 2 on disney plus!

Going to see the new animated movies in the theater are some of my most cherished memories as a kid. Inside Out 2 needs to be shown in theaters. Now that streaming services have taken over, and all of us have grown up, it would be such an experience seeing a Pixar movie in theaters again, especially something as popular and nostalgic as Inside Out.

At this point, I dunno if I want Mindy as Disgust anymore if you know what I mean 💀 although the character name does fit

I feel like this is one of the few well deserved Pixar sequels. Unlike some of Pixar’s other movies, like Toy Story 4, it would be neat to see how Riley’s emotions behave, as Riley is an adult. Unlike Toy Story 4, where it was super easy to fuck up the franchise, it would be hard to mess up Inside Out 2, in my opinion.

I feel like it would have been so cool to see a different person's story this time- theres so many possibilities. Like you know how in Riley's mind, Joy is taking the lead, being the one in the middle of the board? While for the mom Sadness is the one in the middle, and for the dad, Anger is the one in the middle. It would be so cool seeing someone who's 'leading' emotion is fear or something. But nonetheless I'm still excited to see Inside Out 2!

I remember happily watching this movie for the first time in my house with my mom as a kid and then again in a hospital 18 hours away from home without my mom as a teenager. Crazy how life works. I actually kinda hope this movie dives a little deeper into mental and or medical stress and maybe even trauma.

What if they add a new feature where the Emotions are able to Fuse together to create New Emotions, like Fear & Sadness combining to create Anxiety, or Sadness & Anger to create Depression, it would be interesting to see what Crazy Combinations these Emotions can create by fusing together.

They better add "Emotion" by Carly Rae Jepsen for the sequel, it fits so much that Riley as a teenager couldn't resist to have a crush on someone

Possible inside out 2 villains. (I’m not saying there will be any.) 1-the clown. It’s just an idea 2-Stress? Stress maybe because Riley’s nervous of puberty. 3-probably someone else from the nightmare prison. 4-no villains at all.
