Donphan was my unexpected ace for most of my Violet playthrough. It survived hits it shouldn't have and defeated pokemon that it had no right stepping on.

The squads of Team Star are named after the five brightest stars of the constellation Cassiopeia. Segin/Epsilon Cassiopeiae, Ruchbah/Delta Cassiopeia, Navi/Gamma Cassiopeiae, Schedar/Alpha Cassiopeiae, and Caph/Beta Cassiopeiae. Another detail I love that they did is each squad boss uses a Pokéball that matches their personality. Giacomo uses Timer Balls as he's a DJ and timing is key, Mela uses Quick Balls because of her impatience and attitude, Atticus uses Repeat Balls because he's stuck in the medieval past, Ortega uses Luxury Balls because he's from a rich background, and Eri uses Heal Balls because she cares a lot about protection.

To be fair though, Ash usually ends up with the Grass Starter. Bulbasaur, Bayleef, Sceptile, Grotle, Snivy, Rowlett. I want to see him get a Sprigatito that just keeps biting his ankles like a real cat.

Love the fact you chose the Sword/Shield Gym theme for the background of the battle with Iono. It fits the Levincia and Iono Zone vibe perfectly. But I'm also glad you kept the Cascarrafa music. As Toby Fox worked on some of the music for Scarlet/Violet and the Cascarrafa theme is one of them. Others he worked on are the Zero Lab battle, Tera Raid, and Academy Ace Tournamet! Also love how at 37:35 you chose Cynthia's intimidating piano and battle theme for Geeta, because it's quite ironic to choose that considering how much easier she is than Cynthia Larry has triple duty as an office salaryman, a Gym leader who has to look out for Geeta's inspections, and an Elite Four member...no wonder he looks like he hasn't seen his wife nor his kids in a long time. What a mood
