  • While I personally love Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars, it does have one flaw that while it's no one's fault, or even the game itself, it's just a unfortunate situation: the timing. This game was released back when Clone Wars was still airing, particularly around Season 3. Meaning that everything in the series from Season 3 and onward don't occur what so ever. None of the new planets, characters (with the only exception of unlocking Savage Opress), or story lines happen which is a damn shame since it was during Season 3 when Clone Wars went from a good show to one of the best animated series of all time. I mean imagine if this game was remade with the entire series in it? You'd have all the amazing locations such as Mortis, Mon Cala, and Umbara while having some of the best content in all of Star Wars. I mean, Siege Of Mandalore, people.

Clone wars was super good. The ground battle missions were super fun. The fact that you can spawn in vehicles and demolish enemies with them was the best thing ever
  • @juiceman9682
hoping they give the clone wars another game, including maybe some bad batch stuff on the side. PLUS ADD BACK THE PVP WAR MODE! THAT WAS THE GREATEST
  • Are we also not going to talk about how the arena in lego star wars the clone wars is like 100x better than the skywalker saga?
  • Loved this franchise since buying the original Lego Star Wars for GameCube. Still funny in hindsight that the Clone Wars game only covered up to Season 2.

A lot of people actually like Lego Star Wars 3 over the complete saga including me. Several Youtubers did a poll on the ranking for the lego star wars games and the clone wars beat the complete saga significantly. The complete saga is overhyped because of nostalgia. In reality the level design was very poor, a lot of glitches, poor combat mechanism where you can spam lightsaber slam etc. It was definitely a good game for its time but it just does not compare to the newer games. Lego Star Wars 3 was the first lego game to have upgraded graphics, support a larger number of characters on screen at a time, improved lighting etc. The game looked amazing and the level design was also pretty good. I also really enjoyed traveling between the venator and invisible hand in free roam. I think Lego Star Wars 3 is objectively a better game the the complete saga.

Lego Star Wars 3 is still the best one imo. The game feels bigger than the new one, and the story mode is way more expansive.

1 Clone Wars 2 Complete Saga 3 Skywalker Saga 4 TFA
  • @amazing1904
I do kind of wish The Skywalker Saga’s story mode wasn’t so shortened. But the free play really shines bright and the game is still the best and longest Lego game I’ve played.
  • “The ability to make the Disney Sequel Trilogy enjoyable is an achievement of it self”. This guy truly Understands Star Wars👌
  • @quadnodsarelife
Im actually surprised they managed to make the Skywalker saga as good as it. It definitely the best one they’ve made. But I hope they add the star wars stories later Rogue one, solo, the mando and bad batch since we have their characters available
  • i was really hoping there would be large scale battles like those in the Lego Clone Wars in the Skywalker Saga. The Geonosis Arena level was so much better in the Clone Wars. The one in Skywalker Saga feels a bit empty.
  • The Complete Saga is my all-time favorite video game, and why people are now suddenly going back and saying it sucks is beyond me. Seriously one of the greatest video games ever made.
  • @ytuser_3122
The Complete Saga was the first ever game I owned after getting it and a PS3 for Christmas 2007 and The Skywalker Saga is the first ever game I preordered!
  • @mill2326
I feel like LSW3 had the best gameplay mechanics (commanding troops was amazing, and the space battles were really fun), TCS has the best levels/story mode, TSS has the best open world and immersive free play experience, and the VG and OT games have all the nostalgia fun (can't tell you the hours I spent at Dexter's or the cantina). And even though TFA is my least favorite one, I really liked how Palpatine's lightning worked lol.

My problem with sws is that a lot of the missions either feel blurred together like during return of the Jedi 3 of the 5 missions take place on Endor and are maybe 3-4 minutes long max and feel like one level until you realize “oh shit now I fight the emperor”. They also just remove things that made complete saga so amazing like all space sections are drastically cut down like the trench run being maybe 2 minutes of gameplay and then a cutscene and completely removing the space fight outside the second Death Star and not having you go inside and blow up the core it even removed the opening to episode 3 with the space scroller in space. But I do give props to making empire strikes back feel fluid and not and is the only time I felt the open hubs were utilized to their advantage in between missions with hoth having you activate beacons to search for Luke and cloud city having subtle hints that Vader was already there.
