The Apple TV 4K 32GB is my streaming device of choice and I love it...And yes imo running apps on any streaming device will always be better than running them on just a smart tv.

I use an LG TV for all my streaming apps, then my PS5 for the rest (HBO Max, Crunchyroll etc) would it be better to get a Fire stick for something like that? The resolution would be higher no?

I am watching 4K movie through my 4K PC now. Is there any benefit of using this new Apple TV 4K over 4K PC. I am not playing game. Watching movies only with 4K TV HDMI 2.0 (no HDR). Thanks

Hi SpawnPoiint, did you had a chance to compare the LG OLED to Samsungs QLED like the Q90T or Q95T? How does the OLED handle brightness and and is it worth the surcharge of an OLED to a QLED? Sorry for my english, I am from Germany :D

I have to agree that streaming does seem to look better via Apple TV vs native app. One of the main things I use the Apple TV 4K is for BT sport. As this is only available on Samsung smart TVs and not LG the app looks amazing when watching 4k hdr content.

I have lg CX, I connected the 4K Apple tv but for some reason it will play for few seconds and then it goes to tv demo. Do you know what I need to do ?
