INSIDE OUT 2 NEW Emotions REVEALED!

In the first Inside Out, they showed us the emotions of Riley’s parents and other adults, and they all had only five emotions. Because of that logic, that should mean that there will only be the five main emotions during Riley’s entire life, unless those new emotions are existent but always offscreen in the adult minds, or unless they appear in teenage years and somehow disappear during adulthood.

There's a fun chance Bing Bong could return. Not saying he will, but if for some reason Riley recalls or remembers him, he could come back to life. That's something to think about, but its nice that they are adding other emotions. Hopefully it doesn't take away too much. Sometimes more than one character can cause problems

I hope that these new emotions aren't necessarily NEW characters. But rather show how the primary emotions can EVOLVE into other emotions but derive from the same primary emotion. Kind of like they have multiple personalities type thing and switch between the personalities. I.E. hope and love are extended personalities of joy. Guilt and shame are extensions of fear or sadness. Irritation an extension of anger. Embarrassment an extension of disgust. So on and so forth. It would keep the 5 emotions there and keep it streamlined with the first movie without having to uproot the plot. Emotions change and evolve but all derive from the same roots.

Pride and Schadenfreude belong in this, even if it's just as cameos---there was a scene in a storyboard where Pride fell flat on his face and Schadenfreude laughed...it was pretty good.

I can't tell whether Pixar is actually trying to make this another psychological masterpiece, or if they just want to rehash the plot of the first one with a bunch of characters that logically shouldn't exist with the canon of the first one... oh, who am I kidding?

If there are new emotions, how will they explain none of the adults having them? Are these somehow teenage-exclusive emotions that Riley will lose as she approaches adulthood?

I can’t wait to see the new emotions! Hope and Love are gonna rock!

Honestly I think the idea of her going through gender/sexuality is a really good theory and I hope they touch on that, it's a pretty important part of a teens life in general

I can already imagine multiple emotions And character design. And I love it🙃
