The #garden is my mentor who quietly and patiently teaches new things, forgives mistakes, and encourages me to try again. Not a pro, just a single #bohemian from California who finds gardening rewarding #gardeningmakesmehappy

Started with #microgreens and two raised beds from old bookcases. Three years later the entire front lawn in the city (800 sq ft.) is replaced with fruit trees, #flowers, #veggies, & #herbs. Penchant for #permaculture & #nativeplants 🌻

Neighbors have become friends because of the garden and are inspired by the beauty. Currently working to restore wetlands that kiss the edge of my country home near Nags Head, NC, USA. Also, building a shallow pond and run for #chickens (maybe #ducks & #goats ) here.
