My name is Rebecca Robinson and I’m a Heart Transplant Patient. As I’m writing this I’ve currently just celebrated my 12th year of having a new heart.

Before my Transplant I never thought about organ donations and how many people are waiting and needing transplants. I’ve set up this channel to express and hopefully get some people to think about becoming an organ donor. It is massively misunderstood how needed it is.

I haven’t met my my donor family but I’m in the process of writing a letter to forward to the transplant co-ordinator. I’ve heard some people get replies and some don’t but either way I want to say thank you.

It may be 12 year too late but these situations aren’t to be taken lightly. I wanted to make sure I’m doing the right decision.
