The Beagle is known as the breakaway king and free spirit among dogs. Malicious tongues also claim that he is a little stubborn and that commands are rather suggestions for him. Walking without a leash-no way! Then he is gone and does his thing first and for that he takes his very own time.
This is why the Beaglefreilauf Kalkar exists. The beagle meetings take place every week on Sundays. On the large and beagle-safe fenced meadow in Kehrum, a district of Kalkar on the lower Lower Rhine, the beagles, beagle mixes and lab beagles have the opportunity to run, romp and play freely - but also to rest and relax. Here on this YouTube channel we show how much fun and joy the beagles have romping around in the pack and interacting with each other. The fact that the leash owners can watch them completely relaxed is a positive side effect.
With the money we raise we support a local animal shelter and the care of liberated Laboratory beagles
