About Zach Hall

I'm Zach, your friendly neighborhood game master and I love to read and analyze tabletop RPGs. I enjoy making videos sharing my perspective on running games, usually as a stream of consciousness while reading a rulebook for the first time.

My channel is for anyone interested in TTRPGs, but is especially helpful for those hoping to learn a new system or those learning how to read a rule system. I enjoy reading new rule systems to find the patterns: both the patterns of play the designer intended, but also the patterns the game shares with others.

I hope to one day be able to publish my own hack/homebrew and to produce my own actual play content so I can share less theory-based content and more useful real-world application of those theories.

I'm based on the US east coast and use he/him pronouns.
