If you’re here in 2024 you are a legend

I worked at a liquor store when I was young called state line liquors in Maryland. I was a beer boy. I got the privilege of taking Lonesome George's alcohol to his van. Tipped me a hundred bucks. I will never forget that.

I not lying. He lived in apartment next to me as a kid. We knocked on his door for my friends birthday. His answered and picked up a guitar. Then crushed songs. He’s a legend and a god. I never forget it.

Man, memories. Wow, wish we could go back in time

My Dad loved this guy. Rented me a place. I couldn't pay the rent after buying myself a guitar to learn this song. Out the door I went.
-
I saw him in Calgary in the 80s. He did 4 Encores and finally they shut off the power in the Max Bell Arena. George kept playing n the dark as everyone went silent so we could hear him. The best Concert I was ever at in the worst Venue in the world.

I’ll always remember driving in my Fathers 1986 Chevy truck when I was little, listening to George Thorogood and talking to truckers on his CB. Native Jersey guy, this was really cool to watch - Miss you Pops! ❤️
