I did my best to attach the 1977 LIVE Version to the record. I am a former video editor from CNN and KCAL tv news and this was a pet project I wanted to do for a while. I hope you enjoy it and share it with other Skynyrd fans.
The film was recorded at the Coliseum in Oakland California.

Darn. Was this really 46 years ago. I was a spotty, long haired sixteen with my first motorbike, when this song came out. Now, at 105, okay, 62, it takes me straight back to being that teen again. Play it loud and sing along with pride.

Not a bad looking audience, considering we are all grandmothers now! But don’t kid yourself we can still rock!
  • I've only been to Alabama twice and only for work. But this song, for whatever reason, resonates with me.
